Day 1: Arrival in Kigali → Lake Burera

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport , you'll be warmly greeted by your personal guide from Gagan Tours and Travel and transferred to Lake Burera , one of the picturesque "Twin Lakes" near Musanze. Surrounded by lush green hills, this peaceful lake offers a perfect introduction to Rwanda’s natural beauty.

Enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner served at Sambora Kinigi Lodge, your home for the next two nights.

Day 2: Hike Mount Bisoke – Dian Fossey Memorial

Start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on the Mount Bisoke Volcano Hike — a challenging but rewarding trek through the Virunga Mountains . Reach the summit and marvel at the crystal-clear crater lake below.

After descending, visit the Dian Fossey Research Center , where you’ll gain insight into the history of gorilla conservation and her legacy in protecting these magnificent creatures.

Day 3: Cross Border to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
