Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Hike Mount Sabinyo

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Kigali, Rwanda , where you’ll be transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. After a light lunch, begin your ascent of Mount Sabinyo — a challenging but rewarding hike that straddles the borders of Uganda, Rwanda, and DR Congo .

Reach the summit and enjoy panoramic views before descending to your lodge near the park entrance.

Overnight: Ichumbi Hotel – Kisoro (Mid-range)

Day 2: Explore Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, drive to the tranquil shores of Lake Bunyonyi , known for its calm waters, lush green hills, and charming island communities. Spend the day kayaking, swimming, visiting local villages, or simply relaxing while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.
